AFSUPES welcomes all kinds of people with a keen interest in getting involved with HIV/AIDS work to apply.

 

Your Role:

 

Interns will provide assistance to the association primarily through administration, learning key skills applicable to capacity building and community development from a local perspective. Assignments will depend on current local needs, as well as any previous experience you may have.

 

Potential Tasks:

 

  • Write grant proposals

  • Create or add to written materials (for marketing purposes)

  • Assist local staff in implementing extra-curricular activities

  • Translate documents from French to English

  • Prepare reports

  • Research and develop partnerships with national and international agencies

  • Create, edit, or maintain website

  • Train local staff in website maintenance and/or social media

 

Language Requirement: Intermediate French

 

Volunteer Hours: Typically you will work from 9am-5pm in this position; however work hours can be flexible according to your needs, and can be rearranged with your supervisor upon request.

 

Duration: 2 months +

 

Internship Availability: Year round
